Cheap Car Insurance???
Does it exist???
And if it does I need it!!
Trying to get insured on a Pulsar and so far the cheapest i've got is £2500 fully comp.
If I can get that down to £2000 i'll be happy.
Any suggestions?

RE: Cheap Car Insurance???
Just put ya details in on confused.com then go direct to the cheapest company after for a quote(it will be cheaper still)
Ive been with direct line for yrs but then again i am old
Rate admiral and adrian flux theyre all ive ever been insured with just play em off against each other or just go for the cheapest.
To be honest suprised anyone will insure you at all based on your age jess on a pulsar.
Put another £5k aside for repairs etc an you`ll be fine.

Who havn't I tried
Erm... Elephant, Norwich Union, Diamond, Sheila's Wheel's, Asda, Tesco, Adrian Flux etc.
Some won't even touch me until i'm 21, 25 and even 28.
I don't think £2500 is bad, but if I sold the ka, i'd be paying the price of a car for insurance... is it really worth it?? A question I keep asking myself...

RE: Cheap Car Insurance???
Sounds like you better go with Admiral then, because insuring a Mazda 6 at 30-odd is very much like a 17 year old getting cover for a Pulsar GTI-R!

RE: Cheap Car Insurance???
No offense Jess but I am surprised most insurers will even cover you!!
At your age with the car you are looking to insure you are going to be paying big bucks regardless. The only sure fire way to cheap insurance is age and good insurance record.
Going with the cheapset isn't always the best - at the end of the day you are going to get what you pay for - I use Adrian Flux and have never had an issue with them.
One way to get it down if you are determined to go down this route is too have a much much larger excess - you will more than likely have to go through a broker to get one of these though.
£2500 is a lot considering you still have all the other expenses to add on.
