not soo much chavved up scooby's, the ones i have seen have had a lot spent on them performance wise but whats the deal with scooby owners all wearing subaru jackets?
The Fast show was a prime example, going past the subaru owners club and they were all stood there with subaru hats and blue & yellow long coats.

Pretty much every scooby is a chav machine nowdays. I think the fact that you can buy them from £2k+ attracts the chavs and dodgy estate type folk.

Ste's right, a lot of them have been looked after and modded tastefully, especially under the bonnet. There do seem to be a rising amount with dodgy light conversions, silly stickers and other dubious "styling" mods though.

As for the jacket thing, I think it's part of the deal with the DVLA, when you register a Subaru you have to present your proof of jacket ownership receipt before it can be in your name ha ha!

I know what your all saying but, they are excellent to drive, quick off the mark, sound great, 4wd etc, there's a good reason why there are lots of them around.

Doesnt matter too much to me that there common. I wouldnt buy a turd if they were rare just cos no one else had one. They are cheap to buy, can get a brand new WRX for 15k now. There good all round cars at a very good price. There are alot of chavvy ones coming along though because of the prices and with that comes the attitude as well "Scoobies are fast as F**k", it doesnt matter what car the chav has they think its the best in the world. They arnt slow as standard, but there not what I would call quick either, im working on that however.
