Bloody Fiesta
Yes i know its a ford and no its not the lights causing it to be gay grr

keeps bloody cutting out!! not me stalling it but when i'm driving along even at 50, 60 and when i'm slowing down it will jus randomly cut out and i have to drop the clutch and take my foot off to get it to bump start again... really not safe when i travel on the M1 every day Icon_rolleyes i'm gonna give her a full service when James sorts me a servicing kit out but does anyone else have any ideas as to what it might be... thought possibly idle control valve but what do you guys think?

RE: Bloody Fiesta
Mine does it and it's a censor. I just heal and toe it all the time now and it's fine but on the odd occasions when you forget it does cut on when you slow down and come to a junction etc.

Heard of a few people having this problem.

mk4 fiesta / ka have probs with igniton coils.

but your cheepist option is to service it first

air filter oil filter ***fuel filter*** (could be casuing prob)
plugs and possible even lead set

Coils for them arnt very expensive anyway as there pretty commen

the mk4 fiesta also had intermiten fault problems with Idel contol vales

Not so much air flow meters

RE: Bloody Fiesta
garage quote stupid money for servicing so just gonna get james to sort me a service kit out at trade price then gonna service it myself and get him to do whatever i'm not confident with doing... i've got some platinum plugs but not sure if they're the right ones for my car... will check... was given them by a friend... if not they'll be up for grabs cheap Icon_wink

RE: Bloody Fiesta
liquid damaged ecu????????
All small fords with ecu in passenger side behind dash suffer.
Also PCM control relay gets green death in it causing similar fault.

Earth fault to engine/gearbox
