when you have fitted ICV it wont cure it straight away you should normaly drive it round for about 30 - 40 minutes so that it resets to the new part

lmao this much is true and thanks for that ... didn't know i had to run it for a bit... will scare rob and take him out for a drive
not sure if i'm gonna be able to fit it tonight cause it's gonna be dark by time i'm home... may have to wait for weekend ... atleast then if i cock up i got plenty of time to fix it before i start work monday lol... gonna get a new gasket too as it appears to be leaking a hell of a lot of oil and is dripping on to the exhaust so smells a bit fumey... all part and parcel of buying a ford hehe
