i think you will find that under hard acceleration most Diesels smoke black, or works focus do and there brand new.

Unless it is thick and reduces visablility to road users behind you and/or does it all the time even on idle..id ignore it!

1. Top 100 Show Car 2. 13 sec 250+bhp RWD monster 3. Daily runabout well detailed 4. New Toy..The Track Car - but i know fuck all about this scene........

Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Have the seals gone on the turbo and it's throwing oil into the exhaust maybe?

Not sure how black the smoke is that he's talking about tho as oil burning is more white Icon_confused

Spider-pig, spider-pig, does whatever a spider-pig does, can he swing, from a web, no he can't, he's a pig.

Black smoke will be fuel and carbon, oil would be blue and white. Good thinkin' tho.

Sounds like it just needs a good scrub out, but I wouldn't. Because if you decoke the motor and there's carbon in there that's filled any small block cracks then you could do more harm than good.

Stick some Redex diesel through it and adjust the fuelling to drop a little less fuel in. Make sure it's not too much tho, else you'll need to change your boost too.

most common black smoking faults on them are either EGR valve sticking, or more commonly fuel pump will be ready for overhaul as there a tiny spring inside that normally breaks causing them to over fuel under acceleration.
