In light of recent events I am in two minds to remove my tints or not.
The reasons why i want to keep them on is because:
a) security reasons
b) look good
c) Not finished the rear interior of my car yet
d) I'm no oil painting
e) keep my car cool
f) i don't get sun burn
Reasons for removing them:
a) no fines
b) no police harassment
If I remove the fronts I will remove them all. Don't think it would look right with just the backs tinted?
Tough one, I would say keep....but then I never got pulled over for having tints when I had them.
I think if I was to be pulled over and fined for it more than twice I would end up removing them. Twice is £60 which is better spent elsewhere.
Also in this current climate of police in nottinghamshire being particularly arsey towards cars, who knows what rules they may dig up meaning they are allowed to take your car and crush it for no reason.
I am sure they can take my car off me there and then for tints.
But this is the first time in owning a car with tinted windows for 5 years that I have been pulled for them.
Just have to wind the windows down when I spot a copper
Get rid
you see, I like mine because they make driving in bright conditions easier and keep my car cooler. Having black leather interior can make it like a bloody oven in there! I also like the look of them!

Im the same as you.
I have never been "Pulled" But have had them tested and wordsm but as the story goes i got away with it very lucky on that 1 if you car and want to know how PM me.
I have 45% all round and to me its not to dark, so its not to much of a give away as it would be with limo black or them stupid twin like tints.
Keep them untill instructed otherwise.

remove the fronts and have a light smoke on instead..
Leave the back that dark
The overall darkness of the inside will make them all look OK
i agree with newth! i've never once considered having window tints!

tints are shite somthing you do when your younger n first get a car

Just be careful removing them from your rear windscreen or you'll fuck up the heat elements
