always better to secure your car first Icon_wink

Looking about
how do i go abot it, fit alarm then do locks? or de lock then alarm? lol and where do i go for these alarms?
I have had Toad and Clifford before and i would only ever use CLIFFORD in the future
i take a lot of faulty cliffords out of cars and replace them with toad. 90% of the time the immobiliser side breaks down.

A place in sutton quoted me 160 for toad cat1 alarm fitted, and 100 for him to fit central locking to my car as it hasnt got it yet! Seems a decent chap and cheapish to!

seems a bit cheap in my opinion.

when i fit cat1 systems i fit them so you cant just pull the unit out and connect the wires back up next to the unit. I run the cables from one end of loom to the other so its gonna take a really clued up person to get the car running. There are a lot of car thefts happening just lately and the immobilisers have beeen fitted cheaply instead of being fitted properly and if the car is found and the immobiliser isnt fitted to cat1 standards the insurance refuse to pay out and we all know how easy they get out of paying.

get it done properly or you are wasting your money on the certificate.

It should take a full day to install a cat1 system to thatchams standards but it only takes a few hours to bodge one in.

afraid i've got to vote clifford. had some bad experiences with toad.

i've had around 4 cliffords now. never had a fail yet.
