Ok, i have spoken to the company who own the Early Doors pub, in mansfield.

For those of you that dont know, we have a weejkly meeting there.. and have done for years, until it was flooded when we had the really bad rain..

The chap said, that it was supposed to be re-opening this month, but set backs and a change of mind has pushed it back a few months.

They said "the layout and what ED has to offer is being reassessed"

So that prob means they are adding better more suitable parts to it, like a bigger back garden/smoking area etc..

I have the number of the regional manager, who i may ring and see if they will allow is to use any other one of their pubs in this area! :boogy:

flamingo, and last drop are both the same brewery...

but they are jsut the ones where the lease is under offer..

i cant see the ones that are not under offer, as they only have a "Become a licencee" on their site!

They also have kingsway and nags head at kirkby, neither of which i'd bother with unless you fancied being thumped for "looking at me funny".

I reckon they've also got Sinatra's in Kirkby, which used to be Henry's but its being gutted as far as i know.

Last drop in Sutton is one of thiers too.

they run the pub but dont own the building. The same company that owns il rosso own the early doors building

Oh, thats funny.. I thought ill rosso was owned by one (or two) people?

Surely if the early doors was owned by them, they'd of got it opened by now?

they had ill rosso open in a matter of days once they had started work on it!

the company who run it own it ... the bloke that used to own it sold it as a job lot the flat and every thing

so who owns it now?

When will we get it back?

ok im confused, as i spoke to the regional rep for Enterprise Inn's and he said that it was being opened december/january...

We'll see what happens

yup Ive finaly got contract for sound and lights in there cos it all went tits up with planning and Steve doesnt work for the company any more.
Enterprise Inns own it and Lee from Red is running the lease

so again dose any one know wen this will be open ??
