Honda Civic 1.4 (Personally id have the 1.5) is head and shoulders above the other tat!
i was thinking about it, but it just not be fast enough, not that i speed but i just like a good pull off. i was thinking long and hard at work if i should keep it. got 2 be 1.4 for insurance.

NON of the cars will feel a great deal different at pull off.
My advice is get a civic keep mods subtle and styling and then wait till your insurance drops..then have some fun with power

Nah I forgot to put that if its an EG shape one you want to go for a 1.5, like Phil's old one, I'm sure that they didnt do a 1.4 EG though.
What ya need to ask yaself is will "the best, most reliable car?" keep ya interested in it?? if ya take a look round on car forums generally the exciting good to drive cars arent the above-ya get one or the other usually,best thing to do if your patient is drive all of em and pick the one that drives the best or makes ya smile the most coz none of em`s bad cars, though mitsubishi parts used to be daft money so may avoid that personally.
