i am not looking 2 increase the speed, more looking for ideas of how or what parts will make a fiat punto pull off faster,

e.g i would like to be able to notice it as a big differance.
not much what i can fink of see if any other smaller fiat gearboxes would fit

i put an older a mark1 clio gearbox in my mark 2 clio and it was much faster at pull off but had no more pull at 115

it wheel spun on gearchange in to 2nd all time if racing

have a look into that maybe like a 800cc cinqucento gearbox in it would have no top end but would be better at pulling off
bang loadsa NoS in it
strip the fooker!

I did (in the ax) when i went to santa pod, all i had was a seat and a steering wheel, and you could deffinatly feel the difference
Get something fast to tow it Icon_wink

If you want to get good times at the Pod etc, then strip it out etc Icon_smile

If your on about traffic light grand prix, then dont bother! Icon_wink
i recon mattys widdos or slysicars idea are top ideas i fink that if u put propa same wheels on that could help coz 1.2 dnt like 17s lol so 1.1 mite like 10s or even the brake discs lmao
cams maybe?
Use a grapple hook and attach it to a passing milk float! Icon_biggrin
thanks for some good ideas,

And some sarcastic ones lol Icon_mad

At the moment I will just focus on doing it up,

And making it look nice: p
top punto owners tip....

If you are making it "Just look nice" then DONT DONT DONT spend all your cash on bodykits/wheels/ice

As it WILL break mechanically very soon...

In fact (With the Help of Troy, Me, Matty, stilo Joe) we will list EVERYTHING that has broken on ours

Troy and Matty had the 1.2 Sporting, mine is a 75 ELX and Stilo's was a 55 IIRC

Mine:
Both Rear Arms
Front Shockers
Front Pipe
Brake Pipes
Coil Pack
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump (X3)
Gearbox
Clutch
Water Pump
Sump
rocker cover gasket (X3)

In 3 years of ownership!
In 10 months of ownership, of which 8 of them I was driving around in it after I passed my test;

1 Gearbox
1 Driveshaft
1 Front Lower arm
Complete set of HT Leads, 1 had split,
New plugs
Needed new front and rear main crank oil seals
Fuel Pump x2
Front flexi pipe
Backbox
Door Seal
Bonnet release cable

Also I got a full service done on mine, timing belt the works.
