had a trip to the lake district on sunday, and stopped for a few nights... was keen to check out what the car could average MPG wise as it's the first time i've really been able to test it out.
so, did about 600 miles all in all after riding around whilst we were there etc
on the way there it averaged 59.8MPG!!! which totally amazed me! i was really impressed with this, especially as it only has 2,500 miles on the clock. as said, after driving around various different sites etc and through blackpool and manchester we covered around 600 miles, and the final average for the trip once we were home was 54.9MPG, which, in itself is great because there is some mega roads around the lakes, which i took full advantage of, although i was kicking myself that i wasn't in the Meggy, but i was so glad i wasn't in it when i came to fill up!
the meggy would have averaged about 29MPG if i was lucky, so, roughly double the amount of fuel!
so, knocking around i get about 40ish, and on a long journey around 59ish...

my meg was the same... if i cained it it went down to about 17!!!!!!!
