Does anyone know how to do this? I understand that you can annodize chrome to some metals but i want to make a plastic tube look like a chrome pipe.
I got some chrome paint from b&q but that just looks like silver paint
Any ideas?

They've done chrome plated plastic parts for customers before but I'm not sure who they use. If you go on the site, go to customer's cars, and click on John Hendy's '57 Chevy. The front bumper is plastic and was chromed by them.
would wrappin it in tin foil count as chroming? No? I'll get my coat

I know of a guy that can turn water into wine.....but I'm not sure if he can turn plastic into chrome. I'll see if I can find his number or a website.
The only problem is, he's not done the wine trick for about 2000 years because it got a bit repetative. The latest party trick I knew he was doing was him putting nails through his hands and feet, but I dont think that will help you with you plastic problem.

There was a program about this ere chroming thing on discovery one time (the program that tells you random facts and info and how to's etc) and to make things chrome they showed you how they dip everything into big pots of shiny liquid stuff and then into iced water and then they dip it again!!
