Car looking awsome ste, don't want to put you on a downer, but when we had the cossie we had to run it in 1st before we could thrash it. Thats 300miles in the cossie, lets hope you have'nt got to do the same, if so get out in asap and go cruising, cos its got to go up the strip at santa pod sometime. But by then you'll have prob ran it in. Can't wait to see it go up the strip, its going to be fantastic.
Its goin to be a hard car to beat. its goin to be
I'm very excited

Todays update :
Took delivery of the new manifold and samco auxilary pipes
The manifold is from GMC motorsport, The do the best £ for £ manifold on the TU engine. Designed by them made by piper.
Also, shot blast the gearbox to clean it all up and had the flywheel "faced" up so it's ready for the new clutch

Quality on the 4 branch looks really good.
Are you heat wrapping it or showing it off?
Showing it off this time.
By not heat wrapping it it will allow more of the painted block to be seen

I can't wait to get it all fired up.
The solid mount will pass more engine vibration through the car like a true track slag
I can't wait to get it all fired up.
The solid mount will pass more engine vibration through the car like a true track slag
More importantly more power through the transmission instead of having power wasted through the rotation of the engine on the softer mounts.
yeah you could see through the old mount as it had gaps in the rubber moulding.
the powerflex mounts seriously reduce the amount of engine tilt. therefore it should produce slighty more torque.
I'll post a picture of it later.
