Hi all. I need to find out how i can get my car sponsored?
I have just installed a brand new Blaupunkt MP68 with bluetooth (their top of the range model) and had this amazing idea.
Does anybody know how you go about this? I am willing to attend shows and cruises to promote their audio in my car for free but i just would like the sponsor to be behind me on this one.
Anyone have any answers, do tell

Unless your car has something special, stands out like a sore thumb and goes to a shed load of shows the manufacturers wont touch you..
Companies receive calls and emails from people every week asking the same thing, all of them with something different to offer in return for free products being put in or on their car.
Good luck though, you will need it.
Special..... hmm... well i have their latest top of the range head unit... I have a special black leather and white suede interior... My car isnt a polished turd (not in my opinion anyways lol) ......It has a nice irmscher bodykit all round.(genuine) Its the best colour out there...silver....yes it does have some standard 17 inch alloy wheels on at the moment but it still turns heads wherever it goes!!!
I dont want it to look mental and out of place or barried but i reckon with a bit of their help it could be a show stopper and also a good bit of advertising for the best forum ever! Maxxd

Looks good, not sure if it's got the WOW factor that Blaupunkt will want.
My advice don't go out and make it the be all and end all to get a sponsor. Do it for yourself, no one else. It would be nice to get cash inductions but you're not incontrol and its not your car then. That's my advice.
You will fell better at shows if you can hold you head high and say its all your work and money. Trust me, that better than any free speakers.

Don't try get sponsered IMHO it's a different type of free loading
i know a few people whos car gets "sponsored" and one of them basically didnt see the car much in the end as it was always away - and not usually with him!
and the other is starting to look that way too!

Hmm i dont like the idea of my car being away from me like that... I have to use the car daily to get to work and that lol . Definitly not what i want to get tied up in...
I will make it my own creation but it will have all Blaupunkt audio to match i.e front speakers,tweeters,subs,amps etc. I dont think a sponsor will come knocking after i have made it look the nuts and to be honest i dont think id be interested just incase they changed my ideas and make it look ghey lol.
Ill do my best and tune it as much as poss and then it will take pride at your shows
By the way the head unit is a Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68. In my opinion it is the best ever head unit i have ever owned. The quality is awesome,the features are endless and with bluetooth to make and receive calls what more could you want?? Sounds great even on standard speakers thats with the bass and treble right up! Doesnt look awesome or visually inspiring but its out of this world. Got it from halfrauds for 169.99 with 9.99 fitting!! :O
for £170 that not be there top model trust me!
Speaking of source I spoke to Paul Saturday about a double din DVD screen , even though there more then the web I'll be using them just fir service and good aftercare
