My reports normally start with "BigCab© broke down again", but not this time, we got there and back with no breakdowns. YAY. We got there at about 2.00pm and parked the cab in the show and shine area, all the usual suspects were there gleaming away.
It wasn't overly busy but a lot of good quality motors to look round. A big turn out from EU mania with all the chequered graphics and stretch tyres. But not as impresive as the Derbyshire RSOC turning up late afternoon and showing everyone what real cars look like, I'm not at all bias. I dont care who you, you cant beat a man wheel drive mk2 Escort with a 560bhp Cossie lump.
rool:
The cars were changing all day, some going early and some coming late so had a walk round a couple of time to spot late comers. So made it not so boring.
MAXXD.COM (Me, Spener, Ste and D) are the tug of war champions and we all now have free tickets for Donny back up north, courtesy of Ignition, so not a bad day at all really. I did nearly have a coronary though.
As usual, later on, the big room inside MFN gets opened up for a bit of glo stick waving and a couple of shows from the "furious angels", they are not shy girls at all. lol. Waited for show and shine results, no luck this time, Dick with the Renault 5 won, with Liam and his Hyundai coming second and the red 300zx, not sure of his name, bringing up third place.
There was still plenty of car there when we all left at about 9.00pm
Did I mension we won the tug of war. lol.
Anyway, some photos for ya, show and shine area first.
