Found this on the net, didnt know vinegar would do this.

Saw a lad on CN had done this with a block and some other bits
think we should cover ds car in vinegar. How long do you need to let the parts soak before scrubbing

Would be interesting to see if it is true. Ive heard of people using coca cola to do that job especially on seized injectors but not vinegar

does work, the acids in viniger break down the rust, but be carefull cos it doesnt work on all metals....
Theres only ferrous metal that rusts. So steel or Iron etc...
So would that work on alloy wheels then? Icon_rolleyes

it works on nuts and bolts, i did it when putting cage in lol
