the galaxy may well need a custom exhaust soon. whats the best places to have them done these days?

im sure most people will agree with me but i still recommend exhaust uk in sheffield, i had my exhaust fitted on the red clio and i cannot complain even when it started to blow a bit, i just took it back they sorted there and then.

Yeah, exhaust uk are still pretty much the preferred place I reckon.

they ain't cheap, but you get a good exhaust for the money

I know they do Good for scoobys but try haywood and Scott unsure if there custom or not though.but how custom is custom completely different tail pipe?

If you tell them at Exhaustsuk where you're from (maxxd) they should look after you. They've alway's looked after us. BigCab's was a mamouth job and they managed it with ease, so if you have an idea of what you want but you're not sure if they can pull it off, don't be afraid to ask, they love a challenge.

They also did my straight through system from de-cat on the van with side exit for £185. On the van they kept sleaving different boxes over until I got the sound I was happy with. They're very accomodating.

And both jobs, 100% quality.

sounds like it'll be exhaust uk then when i'm ready. still not sure how far up the job list it is. time will tell. certainly don't know what i want exactly.

i can't remember who did dan's exhaust ant, other than i know a mate of ours made the JL tail pipe for the very back. wonder who he gave that to?

I've only ever had 1 other non-stock exhaust, that was on the escort about 10 years ago! it's still going strong though, life time warrenty with scorpion, so getting my moneys worth lol.

Hayward & Scott are about the best in the business but they definitely know how to tear you a new arse hole when it comes to the price!

as roger_savaloy has said hayward and scott are the business but dont forget they only specialise on certain makes of car so they can concentrate on making them to high standard, certain cat back systems they sell go upwards of £300.

newth what sort of exhaust you going for?

dunno yet. got lots of other jobs to do first to see how important it is. depending how they all go, depends on if i need a new exhaust earlier or later

They'll make you one for anything mate; this car uses a Hayward and Scott system...

H&S do pretty much anything you ask them, our owners club did a deal with them a few years back on a custom jobby for the MR2 - even with group buy we were looking at £450 for the catback system!!! Ouch

Top quality job though - would defo have gone with one if i had the money!! Ende up with a custom German job instead (the wonders of the internet!!).
