Of the manual labour kind lol ....
basically to do a brake conversion on a 106 gti, fitting of gti6 front calipers/disks/pads, replacing rear calipers for gti calipers (straight swap) rear disks/pads too, braided brake lines front and rear and gti6 brake master cylinder...
any takers

I have hands but little knowledge of Pugs......
Would you like Ste to help ?
would be ace if anyone could offer a hand... basically manual labour in newquay is next to none... not of the friend kind anyway and being as my mate gave me his gti for 2 months when i killed the smart car i thought the most i could do was get him up here for a few days whatever and do my best to help get the car done

Well the offers there but Ste said it might take some time for him to do it
no worries

xxx
if u need some1 to do it, ask al as he has a mate who got a garage that does work for little money.
dont think the brake cylinder needs changing dont think mine got changed when the conversio got done on saxo
Dave said - Lol, it isnt essential, but speaking to a couple the gti ppl that have
had it done they say it decreeases the play in the pedal, guess its all
down to personal preference in the end, got my MC with the kit lol!
i know someone who would be able to do that for ya and you can either go to his or hell come to yours and he dont charge much at all
James (Youth) said he could do it for a small fee (hard cash only tho)
lol how much? i gotta find Dave somewhere to stay when he comes here unless i get the car from newquay for him

hehe... i'm still insured so can't see why not
I'll do it, but i'll need the car over a weekend or summat.
you'll find with the gti6 brakes on there own that the pedal will travel further as the 306 calipers are larger and require more fluid.
putting on the gti-6 master cylinder allows for the larger res tank and there for less pedal travel.
pm for fitting prices
