Yes, I know there's still another day but I've managed to see most things today. Got to NEC Friday 2pm to put car inside and the halls were not ready. They couldn't lay the road till after all the heavy equiptment was in place. They were worried they would damage the vinyl. Got car in about 6pm parked slap bang in front of main door. Ste wasn't happy with his position. He'd been put in a far corner on his own but managed to get it moved today in a more prominant position near BigCab.

The show was as you would expect, very similar to MPL. They had laid vinyl to give the impression of a roadway. The idea of the road worked well and effective with all the Maxpower top 50 cars on this.

Pleanty of good cars, free stuff, no rustlers, but they were giving pot noodles away like they were going out of fasion. And the usual amount of half naked ladies.

Al and Jess on front cover of Loaded

Al was loving all the attention

Al really wanted a photo of the ant

I was taking a photo of Ste's car, honest!!

BigCab's prime position on the Top 50 roadway at the main entrance

Bigcab's subtle new MAXXD sticker. lol.

Lookin Clean

Alanman (that's me) after winning the raffle for a Trikke, a 3 wheel scooter thing. lol.

ALl in all a good show so far, not sure what we'll do tomorrow. We've seen most of it. There is a small outside section, a live acction arena, suppose that'll keep us busy for part of the day.
as long as there aint loads of trade stands everywhere that actually seems like a half descent show and some serisouly good cars.
Icon_lol

had quite a good day with lots of boobies Icon_lol (so ste said)

some good cars but there seemed to be a handful of cars which didnt deserve to be within 8 miles of the show such as a nasty reno extra van (please tel me you have a pic alan?)

Dude...

going down to the show with you and mouth, i have never laughed so much in all my life.

My thoughts about street life show :

Show was good. Cars were good, Company was good Icon_smile

Ste, you left just before it all kicked off. lol. The last half hour of the show on Sunday was the most exciting. The orange Ford pop from Calibra concepts was manouvering to leave and just went a little too far and rammed it straight into the front of the Orange Clio behind it. Both cars made of fibreglass......you can imagine the mess. No great photos cos security move everyone on but I'll put on what I've got leter tonight.

Then 5 mins pasted and the security went running toward middle of the hall, followed by a crowd as usual. A trade stand were shouting and screaming about a set of wheel being stolen. and pointing toward a Skyline just infront of stand. The securty searched the boot etc and found nothing. Turns out, and this is all over hearing and tab hanging so can't confirm any of the fact, that the trader had already took the wheels to their van. So no stolen wheels after all, but it did make the last half hour less boring. lol.

Didn't do the outside live arena as it was more money but there was a lot of tyre smoke and screaching from what I saw. I'm sure you can imagine what they were doing. lol.
Dont forget dirty sanchez stylie orange throwing
Haha. That was funny. Spenner stood against back wall and I threw an orange as hard as I could at him. It burst right in middle of his back. Bulls Eye!!!!

I then stood while Spenner threw the now soggy orange and missed. haha.

The orange was just good enough for one more throw and it burst to pieces right at the side of his head.

Quality!
I saw the accident thing happen.

How gutted was that for pop owner lol.

Didn't see any of the security stuff. Just wanted to get home to my sunday dinner....
