I wish I could make any sense of that last comment

ill let u figure it out, and dont forget about hull motor show.
03-07-2008, 02:20 PM
I feel far too rough to start figuring it out mate
I'll let you know about Hull, we can discuss all this about the new race car too; Ride height, four link suspension geometry & pre-load, wheelie bar height & stagger, anti roll bar pre load, shock compression and rebound, clutch base pressure and centrifugal weight, tyre pressures, wing angle, launch RPM, shift points, shift loads & pressure, ignition timing & mapping, nitrous oxide pressure & jetting, carb fuel pressure & jetting and obviously optimum tyre temp after the burnout. You "corner boys" do have all the answers when it comes to motorsport after all!

well any information is welcoming, so what your saying is i got to burn my tires out to reach optimum temp, make sure all oil pressures are reached etc etc.

No mate, I want the knowledge off you corner boys on how to set our new car up!

only if it goes on a proper track instead of this boring blink and your finished straight line stuff.
03-07-2008, 04:31 PM
Proper? What's proper about drving round and round in (tediously slow) circles looking for the finish line when you can just drive straight to it? Yeah I guess visibly ageing between these corners you're so fond of must be "proper"!
That straight line blink and you miss it stuff must be that boring that nobody would ever consider driving down to the Pod in a snow blizzard to see it.....oh, oh hang on.....that was you wasn't it?
Check this out....at the end...there's a corner! They must be "proper" cars after all?!

going round a corner at 20 mph with a parachute dangling behind you aint that fast is it
in all fairness the straight line racing can be good to watch but the majority of people dont think it testing enough in our cars who wouldnt really go fast up pod so a track car is more enjoyable.
