Yeah. The Syncro, Limited and Rallye were all 4wd from the factory.

Mines a Syncro in rare RHD form. Just over 500 made IIRC

You're right. The more I look at it I fancy removing the big bumpers and fitting GTi grille, early bumpers and some white Speedline/Compomotives and some graphics.

The spoiler would just change the theme. Reckon a retro rally look will suit it?

Its a woman driver aid. Helps them park at Tesco.

Think its an African rally so probably an anti-Mugabe guard or for shifting cows or the like. Not a mod I intend to employ though oddly.

Yesterday I picked up 2 spare viscous couplings and a gearbox/transfer box - all for free. Probably sell on a VC and box, leaving me with my box and 2 VC'S.

Apparently the g/boxes are weak so I am looking for a stronger one from a Rallye, along with an anti-roll bar and struts.

The car has been stood for 4 months due to other projects but today I stuck a battery on and gave it a wash at the Jet station. I still love it, its a classic shape and it goes like fook - not much more you can ask for is there?

Need to get my arse in gear, strip it out (tomorrow!) and fit the new drivetrain parts.
