Started my main clean ready for FCS last night.
So i thought I write up what did to my wheels
Firstly all the wheels started off like this
So I cleaned them using some megs wheel cleaner. Spraying liberally over the inside of the wheel. Cleaning off with an old microfibre.
There were a few tar spots on the inside of the rim. These were cleaned with a generic tar spot remover.
Once the wheels were cleaned, I used einzetts metal polish & wax polish soft with the collinte 815. Just 1 coat of each.
To finish each wheel as a coat of megs tyre gel applied with an old foam applicator.
Finished result :
I'm properly impressed with the einzetts and collinite. Always seem to get a good shine from them. I think they will be a permanenet addition to my detailing kit.
