Personally i couldnt go out and buy something thats done already if ya like-you`re buying someone elses taste i`d sooner start with a basic car and have something at the end to call your own(if it were a showcar i were doing)
Besides define wasting money when youre creating a new look,depends how you look at spending money on cars i suppose,to me improving the look aint wasting money.
I recon, same as what others have said, run it as it is for now, there's nothing wrong with it as it is. Then when you're ready a change of colour and some different wheels will make it a totally different car. Chose wisely both the wheels and the colour though. It will then reflect your taste and be your vehicle. There's some shit hot photoshoper's on here if you ask they will make your car any colout with any wheel you like.
You wouldnt believe what a different set of wheels and a new colour does. It'll makes so much difference.

see where your coming from but at my age and my budget i couldn't afford to get any car to the standard of my zr also i like the car the way it is, theres nothing rong with it so am just going to enjoy then mod it and change in future to my own taste

My car has just been sent to L.W Smart repairs today
Not because ive had a crash just few adjustmants and so on
Im having:
a Blue Neon kit from Nequip
Front tints removed
Rear Wiper removed
Horn fitted (didnt have 1 before
)
Base and Water temp Gauges widered up
Also i have had a few quotes on a new boot build airbrush design
it will kick ass drew it myself
Then in the cuming future:
New window wipers (mine are shocking atm)
New Crome Angel lights
New Complete Respray (still deciding what colour)
New handbrake Gator (mines broke)
Croming of my back center cap ( which for some reason is gold
)
Possible Removel of Spoiler (unsure yet)
New Airbrushed boot build (coming soon)
Either Engine conversion or uprate mine and turbo it (far future other things take priority
)

im not sure yet mate i probs will as they r crome just like the rims and the new headlights unless i can find sum new crome rear lights
the best thing i think u could do with those rear lights is find the closest bin and use it by binning them lol.
get something custom made for the rear lights.
