you tried the obvius like a confused and gocompare you proberly have .... but for my insurance on the my lil saxo 1.1 on provisional was £1500 from tesco so might be worth to giving them a try matey.

i did all them compare websites for my polo and i was getting £2500+
so ive gone with direct line fully comp for £1053. i dont think them compare websites are any good.
I'm sooooo glad I'm not a young driver anymore - those prices are ridiculous!!!
My first car cost me £734 to insure, a 1.2 Nova and my second was a 205 GTI (1.6 sadly) at 18 and that only cost me around £1035 iirc
