Just been playing outside with a few products
Now anyone who has seen my Corolla will know its a little battered, scratches, swirls, dull paintwork prob hasnt ever been polished so i thought id pay some attention and have a go at getting some shine back on the Boot
Not got any before shots as didnt think about it, but here is the process..
1. Rinse Boot/back end
2. Wash with Small ammount of Hot water and AG Bodywork Shampoo and Conditioner using Lambswool washmit
3. Rinse again
4. Dry using AG Shamois
5. Cover boot liberally in Poorboys Quick Detailer
6. Megs Clay Bar the entire boot (Removed loads of shit!)
7. Wash again using AG shampoo and dry with Chamois
8. Dry again using Microfibre towel
9. Apply 1st Coat of AG Super Resin Polish
10. Leave 3-5 mins and Buff off using clean AG Finishing Microfibre
11. Apply Second coat of AG SRP and repeat buffing
12. 3rd and Final coat of AG SRP, again buffed off.
13. Apply on a fresh polishing pad AG Extra Gloss protection
14. Leave 30mins and buff off to reveal wet look shine
The paint still aint great and has some deep scratches, and swirls but without a PC its gonna be difficult to get a real shine back, will prob need wet sanding most of it to be fair
Its missing a Layer of AG HD wax but that hasnt arived yet but may add to it when it comes (Hopefully tommorrow)
Anyways Finished Pics
(Not bad for a 16yr old Work runabout!)
