Items used :

Einzett Metallic Polish
Einzett Wax polish soft
Collinite 845 Insulator Wax
Megs tyre dressing
Auto Glym Fast Glass
Sponge applicator
Terry cloth applicator
Several Microfibre cloths

Started of by getting the car clean, as it wasn't overly dirty. I used some quick detailer to clean the paint.

First off, was the Einzett Metallic Polish Wax did this with the terry applicator

This really did bring the paint up and put a good shine on so once the car was done it was time to wax.

Second was two coates of the Einzetts wax polish soft.

Followed by the last coat of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. I found the collinite to be very greasy, like there was a lot if silicone in it but it did really good job of finishing up the shine on the car and sealing in the wax coats. To bring me to the finished outside

All in all I am very impressed with the finish from the einzett & collinite combo and will be using it more often!
looking good mate, thought you were upto something as i drove by earlier lol.
Yeah been busy with it most of the day Icon_lol
Looks good difficult to get a shine and reflections on silver!

Espcially with just a detailer wash too!

get yourself on that G/B and then Dave can have his stuff back lol
looks smart father, good reflection! but i thought u hated Autoglym?
Only use it for the fastglass. IMHO it's the best.

wouldn't dream of using any of their polishes/waxes tho they properly suck monkey cock
looks reallly well mate Fi_lone_ranger
very clean used to love my silver 106 when id cleaned it, looks well mate

We weren't flat out Icon_lol I had to slow down for the roundabout. We got upto fourth.

Looks mint ste especially bonnet front wing shots,as has already been said is awkward to show in pics reflection on silver cars and depends on weather ie light as to how cool it looks whereas on mine it tends to look better on darker days.

Glad ya liked the stuff though mate,if ya aint ordered any already will do ya a good deal on that stuff ya borrowed (if ya want)as ive just got too much stuff, got another 2full bottles for instance of that collinite 845 here though that were partly to mates lettin me down,is a bit crap to use but like the finish it leaves.
Looked good at the weekend.

I followed your instructions of 1 coat metal polish then 2 coats wax polish soft and then 1 coat collinite. Took me about 6 hours all in to do them. I'll normally spend an entire saturday cleaning the car inside and out before a show

I had to LOL at the collinite instructions. It says "Do not use on electric pylon wires" or summat along those lines and I was like WTF?

I've not placed an order for anything just yet. How much was you looking at for whats left in the Einzetts and collinite?

Also a quick Q, how often should i use this? My normal routine is to get the car washed and dry and then do the three stage megs on it.

Thanks, it did seem to be getting quite a few people looking at it both at the Yorkshire show and MFN afterwards.

For anyone reading this that hasnt used einszett or heard of it i tend to use the metallic polishwax as a polish/cleanser(it does clean well)on a car thats done fairly regular will still see crap coming off on your applicator-sorta why i like it-i rate poorboys polish with carnauba however its rare if at all it brings any crap out of a fairly good finish to start with-metallic polishwax does.

Waxpolish soft is really glossy however gives little depth(hence using the collinite after and for better protection-leaves a nice glow though maybe not as noticeable on a light coloured car)

As a guide

Einszett metallic polishwax £9.99+(p+p)
Einszett waxpolish soft £14+(p+p) (1ltr tin so will last a while)
Collinite 845 £14 +(p+p)

Really up to you mate i dont stick to any set routine if i wash mine an leather it off an it looks ok tend not to bother doing anything lol, though the metallic polishwax i guess i`d only use something like 3 or 4times a yr,i`d use the waxpolish soft more as ya can get an amazing shine outta that if ya keep applying regular-ish then just top off with the collinite when ya sick of it an want a rest for a month or soIcon_cheesygrin

Collinite wont want doing that often really is just for topping off and as youve read has been used for insulating powerlines so wont want much on ya car that often.

£15 will do for the stuff ste £17 if ya want the mothers microfibre applicators aswell (would have to replace them as use em alot and as youve probably noticed do make a difference)
