any one no of any 200sx beeing striped / broke iam needing a standerd turbo. blades have got to have no play. exaust has cought on drive and broke the seal on the turbo elbow from the turbo so its blowin so time to higher the coil overs. if i drive round its ok but soon as i pull up wate 5 mins and the little puffs of blue smoke (oil i think) but then ill set off agian and nuthin fine .
try sxoc mate
fuck a standard turbo, have a look for skyline r33 gtr unit, i believe they fit straight on iirc.
GT28RS is the best bet, bolts straight up, costs similar money to a standard one and is good for nearly 400bhp when wound up.

If there's no play in the turbine then why do you need a new one? Turbo elbow and manifold gaskets are prone on SX's anyway (about £40 from Nissan) and if there's blue smoke why not just replace the oil seals rather than shelling out for a new one??
Contact IIvIIitch on this site becoz i am sure he is breaking a 200sx Icon_smile

He has put a skyline engine in his 200 so he will have 200 engine sat about.
that turbo was a 1.8 has is he had a s13 not a s14
ok dude Icon_smile.... was just thinking ideas didnt think about the car its self
True story, Mitch's tubby will be a T25 not a T28.
I havent looked at an S14 in detail before, but if its blowing from the Turbo elbow, just replace the gasket (if it has one). Or Get new studs and nuts and re-attach it. Blue smoke is burning oil so if its from the turbo its the oil rings (seals), or could be from the engine in which case its likely to be worn piston rings. If its smoking on idle I doubt its the turbo (just my opinion), check the compression of the engine, that could indicate if you have worn piston rings. Valve stem seals is another way excess oil can enter the cylinders.

Edit Just read Lee's post, so try that.
You broke it already? Icon_lol
lol Olstar's sympathetic post there!

What do you expect, it's Jap Icon_wink

Was a GT28RS but a guy collected it last week Icon_wink

The GTST skyline turbo wont fit either as the flanges are different, Jody phoned me earlier but woke me up so nothing was making any sense Icon_cheesygrin

I spoke to Stu earlier and said to give you a try in case the T25 had been swapped, shame it's gone.
Id do a gasket change, like Lee said its prone to go and around £40-50 quid

And get on SXOC as they will give you a whole range of ideas!

Will it make Nats?
right ive had the turbo off 2 day and there play 2-3 mm side to side up and down and in and out lol .But ive put it back 2 gether made sure all the nuts were tight 3 wernt round the square gasket( thats were its blowing from) fired it up still blowing a little bit but much better now. went from stus 2 mine (kirkby) and back agin pulled up at stus left it running 4 5 mins and it was fine not a puff of smoke. been out in it all day keeped stoping and checking but still nuthing lol . so i no now the turbo is fuked but it isnt if u no wot i mean lol. ill keep looking round to see if i can get 1 afta nationals but ill still be going. yaay
