BBS RS SPLIT RIM
because its so timeless, and makes ANY car look the tits!
Bugatti Type 35B/C
Iconic simple design, reproduced by all and sundry since 1923. Audi used it to design the RS/S-Line rims

that wheel would look nasty on the escort
Compomotive MO's although the original TSW Evo's were cool when I first started getting into modded cars etc.

i have to agree with matty about the compo mo and i aint being byist.
Everyone wanted evo r's in the day!

Cant narrow it down to 1 so got a list in no order
Probably the most copied wheel ever

When these came out werent a car model you wouldnt see with some on somewhere-still think they look ok on the right car(from same period)
Speedline alessios on novas
Tsw imolas another forgotten one
theres loadsa rims from that period i like/liked nowdays theres only really japstyle rims i like(even though ive got prodrive replicas on mine)-theres nothing that revolutionary anymore though-gotta remember when i got into cars it were still cool to put same manufacturer top end models wheels on ya fairly std car

ie if ya owned a mk3 escort you`d have series 1/2 turbo rims on it etc etc per different manufacturer, alloys from specific alloy wheel manufacturers for road cars were a fairly new thing.
Lol first mates i used to hang round with cars thought it were cool as fuck to get rostyles on their chevettes/asconas after std rims

 im goin i feel old !!!!!
im with matty also the compos are the shit tbh

I had two sets of these.
A set on an old seat ibiza i owned along time ago and a set on a 205 gti.
First ever set of aftermarket alloys i ever owned.
I like my wheels (TSW Imola). But I love Clare's on big cab.
TSW Evo R for me, id still put em on now
Alessio Speedlines - There next for the nova

Everyone wanted evo r's in the day!

Amen to Evo-R's
I had my first set of 16"s in them on the Punto and Teddy had them on the Ibiza when it was Red!
Thats how we Rolled
Stealths are Great, Speedlines are Great however here and now...
Rota GTRs are my fave fave fave wheel

Loads of generic rims being chosen here.
I totally agree on the BBS and the Compomotive MO.
The TSW Stealth and Hockenheim definitely need to be on the list as do this lot which are recognised as iconic designs:
