Well,

Firstly what a scorching Weekend and a perfect day/s for Santa Pod

Started Very early Sat Morning nice slow drive down to Wellingborough met HJ stace and Jess at Tesco and headed off...

Little Irchester...bearing in mind that i had done 65-75 mph all the way conserving fuel...i had 1 small play on a roundabout...in front of a police van..Balls

Managed to end up with ONLY a Section 59 Order for Northamptonshire, a Caution about not displaying my Tax disc and My Small Front Plate - Very lucky!!!

Obviously the big talking point for those there (And those being kept informed on the Txt!!) was Jess Vs the Punto Battle...We all know the outcome..and im drinking Piss. Jess managed a 19.61 compared to my Punto's 19.65...0.04!

My car had done 5 runs in the morning scraping down to a 14.1 then later in the evening as the temp cooled, my track wheels went on and headlight out....up pops a 13.8!

Big Cab also ran and managed a 17.4 on its 17" (and even they were chromes!)

Lots of Jap Cars at the show, the HKS Drag series was brill and the new euro sport compact was just as close!

Major Highlight again was Drifting, TJ and Topo were on full form with lots of other drifters and had a huge crowd all day!

Much improved on last year
Im gonna leave Clare to explain about our new friends, HJ to describe stacy doning a "Meatball" in the dance tent and Alan to explain the farce of Show And Go!

Here are some photos...and of course the Ollie Top 10!

More Show/Interesting cars..

Was a good weekend all in all! Really pleased with my time and gunna try to improve it at USC.

Drifting was good too, shame about the Show 'n' Shine but hopefully the new rules won't stick.

Weather was scorching! Managed to get a bit of a tan and didn't get burnt so all is good!

Don't really wanna mention the whole pole thing so i'll leave that to someone else! lol

One of my favourite quotes of the weekend was: Dave Jeff - "chase me i'm a rainbow" Icon_lol

Here are a few of my pictures...

Strip action

We really enjoyed it, even the farce with the show and go. We'd no chance of winning BEFORE we even turned up with the way they'd set the scoring. There was too much bias towards how fast the cars could go rather than an even split. The Corsa that came first got more points on the strip than we did altogether but taking nothing away from him, the car was split mint too. Second and third place took the piss really and made a mockery of it all, they didnt even make the effort and clean their cars. Because they'd got good time on the track they knew they didnt need to make the effort, park the car in the show and shine and went home with a trophy. We wasted money really taking BigCab© up the strip and definately wasted time and effort swapping the wheels. BigCab© was not built for the strip it was built to look pritty. They should keep both types of modder seperate or at least made it more even.

Even though it wasnt the fastest car of the weekend, BigCab© definately attracted a lot of attention in the show paddock and the camp site as usual and at one point on Sunday there was someone taking pics from all four corners with people queing up to do the same. So who says big kit are not the flavour in '08? All the attention make spending 2 hours cleaning it al;l worth while.

Anyway some more photos of the weekend for ya.

Offset police was NOT happy

Nioce evo complete with baby on board sticker, made me laugh for some reason

Trophy winner in the show and shine with dirty wheels and bumper. pfft. (nice car though)

Very nice

Not not as nice as this.
This is one of main reasons we go to Santa Pod, fuck the cars

Mean as toast

I recon thats for picking up channel 5

5000cc good for a 13.5 and he said it was standard.
BigCab© has made the PTM 2008 gallery on its 18.5 average wheels size. lol.

Even though, allegedly, kitted cars are not the in thing for '08.
