Now i have sworn by Meguiars products for the last few years, mostly due to the fact that they are readily available in halfords etc and also the gold glass did an awsome job on the black paint on the Ka.

I was given some of this stuff and found that its pretty outstanding compared to the meguiars gold class i have been using.

Description: Designed to be used on fine quality paintwork where the owner wishes to achieve a concours winning shine. High Definition Wax imparts a lustre and depth of shine normally only found on the most expensive hand built cars.

High Definition Wax contains a carefully balanced complex blend of durable polymers, Carnauba and microcrystalline waxes, combined with selected solid saturated hydrocarbons and oils. Surfaces treated with High Definition Wax display very high gloss combined with exceptional resistance to environmental contaminants e.g. salt, detergents, UV light, acid rain, industrial fallout, etc. The product is completely free of abrasives, water and emulsifiers.

High Definition Wax represents a major step forward in product advancement and combines the ultimate finish with the ultimate in protection. It is designed to meet the needs of car owners wishing to achieve a finish to concours standard.

High Definition Wax is simply the finest car wax Autoglym has ever produced.

Its quite hard work though as its the wax is quite tough but its worth the effort. I've never seen my car bead water as good as this up to a month later so it seems quite long last stuff. I'll post some pics of the shine when i get home.

Wondered if anyone else had used this and what their thoughts are? UkDave?
i am sure this is the stuff lee got sent to try on the race car ?
might be wrong though

Yeah Auto Glym supplied us with some at the start of the year but I never got chance to use it Icon_sad

It does read quite well though, I might use some on the Celica if it survives this weekend.
Let us know how ya go lee with it-i wouldnt risk buying any to"try" at that price as i know how good £20-£25 waxes are so fear i`d be dissapointed as autoglym have been lagging behind for years, still use a couple of their products but not bodywork stuff.

how much?

Auto Glym Is £40 for the Wax
Think it retails about about £40
Icon_surprised I'm glad ours was free then!
Used it on mine mini and loved it, super resin polished it first then went over it with the wax, left it for about a hour and came up great Icon_smile

addz that looks amazing mate..
Your car does look well addz but still think i could equal that shine for half the expense with other products.
Just Ordered some for myself!

£28 on ebay (I had a £15 Ebay Voucher so got it for £12!!!)

Will do a full test soon!
Right well mine FINALLY has arrived!

Initial thoughts...

Looks good, Great package, the microfibre is the same as the Perfect Finishing Cloth i already have from the AG range.
The 2 Applicators look good as well, wondering weather or not to use one for SRP or EGP...Apparantly you can buy more so may well do that!

Wax has a nice smell to it and is fairly soft so should apply well

Gonna try a test patch soon and give some results!
Right...

Verdict...

Firstly i cant do a full car or even panel cos of this shit weather so i have done mini test!

The 3 photos you see are my Corolla

1st id the front end, unwashed, untreated, dirty water sheeted onto the bodywork

2nd is the boot, Clayed, Polished with SRP 2wice and EGP over the top,

3rd is the same as stage 2 but with a layer of AG HD wax applied using the applicators

Cant wait to do a full car with this stuff
