Stu asked us if we fancied a ride out to Papplewick tonight to meet up with his dad at their monthly meet. It was good weather so we thought we'd have a ride out before ED.

Never been to this so didnt know what to expect. Well to be fair I expected half a dousen old cars but I was supprised to fine a good 40 odd classics from TR6s up to E Types and the odd American Muscle car for good measure.

Pulled up in BigCab© expecting no-one to really look at it but got quite a good reaction concidering.

Had a walk round and took a few photos to share. Cant believe there's such a big meet so close and we didnt know about it.

Some nice old classic cars

Couple for the Dubbers

Some american Muscle

Only a couple for the Jap boys too

Italian job remake

cool car

Even better Name
Few rusty old Fords

Sweet looking engines

Unfortunately there was no one on the gate to stop the riff raff in.

Okay, classics are not everyone's cup of tea but it was nice to see how well they're looked after and how they're kept very clean. Also was nice to go to a meet where BigCab© was NOT the oldest thing there. lol

Looks like a good little meet, definitely something different.

i bet u wish u had 1 now dont ya.

I do to be honest...I'd rather be faced with the prospect of removing an engine from one of those in an hour than spending the weekend taking it out of the Celica!

Mk1 Escorts are the king of old skool cool!
when you showed me the pics last night you didnt actualy say where they were from so now i know

some really cool pics there, who were the guys in the older cool cars who came down ed? im gona guess and say one was stu's dad cuz he got it sideways haha
