Think im just gonna ring demon tweeks up in the morning and get some omp subframes for my car. I dont want to spend £100 on that but i aint got any other option i dont think

cant yo make spacers up to bridge the gap in size difference from the seat to the mounts on your frames?

bend the mount 90degrees and it will snap pal.
in thoery your drawing works well, but without extra support i wouldnt fancy it.

Two lengths of 25mm box section with tabs welded on the ends could be bolted to the original subframe then bolt your seat to them, no drawing I'm afraid as MS Paint is AWOL...

I cant see how either making own subframes or what ever is any less safer than £100 subframes made the same, that prob will need messing with anyway.
Well looks like my seats wont be in for trax then, cos dont think i will be getting any omp subframes before the weekend. Be lucky if anyone has them in stock!
buying the proper ones is always going to be safer than modifying your own, dont rush it pal. would have been nice to have them in for the last show of the year and for your track session but hey thats modding cars for ya!
jus have 1 seat in for trax wit a harness, as most standard seats actually weight less than some bucket seats.
Thats what im doing D, found out tonight how to mount the harness up to my left hand side, goes onto the mount where the seat belt click thing is. So now the harnesses will be in.
So thats what im doing tomorrow. Not sure if im going to take the passenger seat out or not yet.
take it out and leave it out until you have the correct subframes then fit both your buckets.
Now im really pissed off. Cant unbolt the subframes at the back to put the harnesses in because someone has rounded the bolts off.
