Just before I go to bed, thought I'd post about my Saxo.

I'm thinking of lowering it, it's on standard 15 inch wheels which I'm going to keep cos I love 'em, but I'll probably get them refurbed, but just wondering how much you reckon I should lower it by?

I want to be able to carry rear passengers, but I want it lowering considerably! I have seen springs for the front ranging from 25mm drop to 60mm, but I can't decide. Once I've got these sorted I can then sort the torsion bar out myself so it looks right. Ideas?

Cheers

Willo
Id say a 20-30mm drop on fairly stiff springs, to reduce body roll... and id probably buy either H+R's or Eibach's.... and to be perfect some billies to go with Icon_biggrin

I wish i had brough stiffer springs actually :o

Or you could slam it 60mm on standard dampers init Icon_cool
I wouldn't recommend anything over 30mm to be quite honest. It's your own preference though mate Icon_biggrin

I have 16's and mine's dropped 55-60mm on SPAX adjustables and they are awesome. You can adjust how hard or soft the suspension is and i can carry 3 fat b**tards in the car with no problems at all.
Have you spoke to jason & ordered them in yet?? What did you decide on in the end Icon_biggrin See you everyday just keep forgetting to ask
get it slammed!

120mm all round! Icon_biggrin tounge Icon_lol
Decided on 50mm in the end, he's not rang me yet so I can order them, he'll probably be ringing me at some point next week.
Koni`s all day long harder but still comfy and great handling had spax billstein and konis for me koni always get it right (me spax didnt last that long either before they started going soft-werent impressed they were about 18mth-2yr old.)
the best for me was g-max, i paid ?46 for my 106 for 55mm springs. there the best and cheapest i have has so far.
