im gonna get german plates - fuck it...
if they pull me and give me the shpeal about volvo traffic cars im gonna enlighten them on the fact my caddy is 20 years old, rusty, and probably doesn't have the capacity to break any speed limits therefore they'll never need to take my picture

if your car is over the 2000 reg then has to have a dealer postcode and bsau stamp on them

Its meant to be a regulation to crack down on people getting plates made on the side, although go to any market and there you go, got a set of plates no questions asked.
As far as I'm aware you cannot fail an MoT at the current time, VOSA sent a bulletin out explaining the size text could be on the bottom for the supplying garage, regualtions surrounding the emblems shown on the left hand side etc, then about a week later withdrew it and told garage not to fail cars for the reasons on the bulletin.
But as we all know, police standard are different to that of the Ministry of Transport and VOSA, this has been highlighted by a number of police officers when I have argued the fact, they soon shut up then when they are basically say that an MOT test is pointless, and that I say I'll bring my car to them to do a roadworthy check.
