i just wondered if any1 knew wher i cud get it reconditioned locally as a new is 315 sheets and thats plus the vat!!!! ouch!! cheers guys!

you tried a Patent part rather than a BMW one mate?

yeh i tryed all the places i know but they all say they havent got 1 listed for the mini yet, prob coz its a newish car really! gutted bout it!!!! that price was with discount 2 as i wrk for the same company!!! rip off!

have you tried breakers yards or ebay for written off cars being broken?

i have been on fleabay but they have 1 off a 2004 and 4 model, i thort it wud b the same as mine but according 2 bmw "it all depends on the chassis number" i just wonder if they sed that tho 2 persuade me 2 buy the new 1? i havent had the chance yet 2 search breakers but i sure will do now!

Dont go to autospares went for a recon/exchange for the micra(runabout)ages ago went to pick it up an there were more play in the cv on the recon than the one i took off-made the mistake of pickin the replacement up before i`d removed the old one as it were knocking but were doin it one night in wk-got old one off an were well pissed off-put old one bk on an took it bk nxt day couldnt get full refund though the tossers as it were a non stock item fookin autospares theyre useless-yrs ago and i mean yrs they used to be good and alot cheaper.

Got one from round here in the end.
