Had very little input on this daz asked if he could pop round here to do his car just let him borrow some blackfire sealant to finish off with though were a nightmare between showers yesterday.

Daz bought his pc with him so used some menzerna medium cut then final finishing polish first then followed with blackfire wet diamond all finish paint protection(mine lol)

Anyway pics-not bad considering no wax used-personally rate sealants better to finish with but thats just personal preference.

Blackfire were applied and removed using portercable, softish polishing pad, microfibre bonnet/microfibre buffing bonnet.
looking sexual as always dude, maybe the red clio should pay u a visit once it get done(it will every1 i promise)

Dont know what ya mean al Icon_rolleyes

I like mint looking cars but dont go to as daft lengths as ppl may think-dont use a washmitt i use a microfibre sponge/dont use drying towel use autoglym aqua dry leather/dont use 2 bucket method or snow foam etc etc-Icon_lolmost of the time my cars not swirl free as if ya gonna use em its inevitable at some point ya gonna get em if it were a museum piece or it were a show slag may get daft with it but to go to the extremes some do regularly i havent got the patience.

Never yet has someone come up to me an said yer ya cars alright except for that fine swirl there-ya gotta put it in perspective sometimes-if i polish glaze sealant and wax can hide 99% of em as there arent many an if i used daz`s pc could eliminate em altogether but they`d be bk.

I dont think the time spent trying not to create swirls is worth it in relation to how soon ya could hide em/remove with pc or rotary polisher yourself/or get someone to detail it now an again.

Though obviously i wouldnt go out my way to create swirls etc ie when polishing by hand polish in straight lines either side to side/up/down never in circles, then buff off the same.

I hear ya buddy, theres clean.. then theres anal.. and theres no point in being anal about it unless your gonna lock your car away in a airbubble somewhere Icon_lol
Yer Icon_rolleyesya know when someone starts moaning they`ve got a swirl or feint mark like its the end of the world-mine is clean but not perfect, far from it.

Do worry about where its parked sometimes but thats more about vandalism/or it being stolen,or just general losers not giving a fcuk.
either pal on the pics all looks mint and your impreza always does in the flesh to
Cheers nez but its easier to make a dark coloured car look good-just park near something bright an get a photo of the reflection, virtually everything reflects of dark colours Icon_lol Only trouble is if theyre not perfectly clean they look crapIcon_cryIcon_lol
As dave said the work on my car was done by me dave just helped out with bits, lent me his drive for an afternoon and some blackfire. Was up town last night some may have seen me and some may not have but the car looked ace even though some old forgetfull bugger forgot his camera but hey nevermind.

Any way as dave said and ill correct it a little bit, car was prepped and washed before i got to daves so it was nice and dry, car was then worked on with a scratchbuster pad and menzerna power gloss heavy cutting polish as the paint from vx is very orange peely in places. Still is a little patchy but that is no problem and not really visible. After the hard work was done and several cups of tea later the car was then worked on again with menzerna final finish polish and a sonus sfx1 pad this gets rid of any fine scratching or hologramming left by the full cut compound.

Final finish was then blackfire sealent stuff of daves applied x3 coats with the machine and a microfibre bonnet on it and then buffed off with another microfibre bonnet.

As you can see from the pics the finish is very glossy and deep looks cool
Lol@ some may have seen me others not car looked ace for those that didnt-basically(lol even tho ya dint say the last bit) pmsl ya crack me up daz.

You`ll never find me biggin my own car up-it is what it is-for anyone who spent the amount of time we do on em theirs would look the sameIcon_cheesygrin

Im still not impressed with either finish yet compared to some ive seen.
Theres only really lee`s RS thats quite trick as to get a deepish shine off of white`s pretty hard an uve always gotta look at the fact lees cars 23yr old-though that could be improved still with a pc/various products.

By the way may be sellin that camera daz
