ok i bought this in about december of last year as a run around and since then thats pretty much what its been but lately ive been abit slack on the work front so thought i would set about tidying the car up abit, here is a pic of how it looked when i got it (sorry about the very poor quality was taken on a very shite camera phone)
when i got the car it was in need or tax/mot and repair so first things first i took it for a mot and it passed with only a n/s track rod end on the advisery sheet which put a smile on my face so taxd/insured it and i was on my way. it wasnt long before the gearbox (which crunched in 3rd when i got the car) gave up the ghost i replaced that with a low milage box and luk clutch with lifetime gurantee
next on the list was a fuel filter because it was suffering slightly with hesitation when hard on the gas that didnt cure the problem which later turned out to be a crack in a fuel injector pipe (long story but sevral broke and turned out the pump was loose and vibrating the pipes causeing them to break) so the car now has 4 brand new injector pipes
after that i had both doors off to repair some wiring which had broken between the car and the dooors which ment a speaker didnt work,neither did e/l window on passanger side and the central locking played up but now its all sorted and working in perfect order
more recently mods/repairs came in the way of disc's and pads as mine were so badly shagged the pads had broken up and chunks of discs were missing so i felt it was time to dig deep and spend some cash haha but on the plus side all brake judder has gone and the car now stops nicely
ive also set about bodywork as you can see from the first pics some goon had painted both sills with black underseal,why i dont know but started gettin that off which has been a right bitch and one side is now fisnhed and the other isnt far away
the front bumper has always looked like it was painted by someone who was blind and pissed so rubbed that down other ready and preped it for paint so that will be wafed over same time as the sills (probly this week if i get 5) also got round to de-badgeing my grill and thats in primer and ready for paint
last thing ive done/had done is refurb /paint my wheels, they were badly damaged and the paint was flaking badly so me and a friend started rubbing them down and preping them and then he painted them for me and i think the end result is brill on the wheels and im really pleased i went for the color i did because sevral colours went through my head and i think i made the right choice in the end
here is a few pics of it now, it still isnt finshed and i will probly be tinkering for a while but its a work in progress so i will keep this updated best i can

ps if anyone is intrested in having there wheels refurbed then pm me the price is roughly £25 a wheel if you supply the paint, it will be done by my mate paul he also did a set of wheels for d_diddy and as far as i know hes very happpy and would use him again , cheers
