The majority seem to be going for the stripped out track slag rally look this year but I havent seen anyone go the whole hog yet and remove the dash. Sureley removing the dash is gonna reduce the weight tremendously. Some dashboards weigh more than the the average seat and can take 2 people to lift out.
Whos gonna be the first to go the whole hog and strip it down to the bare esentials? heater matrix gone aircon gone and all
Ive finished most of the pubs n clubs ive been working on this year so ive got a few hours spare at nights now if anyone needs a hand.
im keeping my dash only option i have if kell is going to let me strip it.and i prefer a warm car, phil made that mistake and he was freezing
Wish i didnt need my car to get from a to b or i would hehe...
+ newth has come second place for this one in his RST`s new look, i only got dash left so might go for 3rd place lol
Phil i can still see half your dash in there. I wanna see clocks tie wraped to the frame

dude.......
dash, or lack of it...................
clock, not ty-raped, but attached to the steering column cos there nothing else.....

heater matrix????
OOO and that kit kat wrapper is gonna create excess weight

lol.
i drove that car back from italy with a blocked heater matrix. coldest 1000 miles of my life. heater matrix is staying well put!
& the tin foil has gotta stay, only thing holding the car together! lol
I dont see anyone using Helium in their tyres either I had a little play and you can fill a tyre to 28 PSI with a party pack of helium from asda using the same method for filling aircon systems at £20

Helium in tyres doesn't work....the molecules are too small to make it practical. All tyres are porous, which is why if you leave one long enough it'll go flat. Difference is when air is used in tyres it doesn't escape as easy due to it's structure (oxygen and nitrogen are both made from multiple particles). Helium however is only made up of single particles, and much smaller than the microscopic holes in rubber so will escape in no time. It's been done to death in motorsport and nobody has ever been able to make it work, it just can't be sustainably contained in a tyre for any length of time.
stupid french cars have to many wires lol
but it looks better from this angle

i wud take mine out but im not losing me heaters, not when i sleepin in car at shows lol, also the glove box is a lifesaver as its only place in car i have to put things.

Eberspacher make mobile diesel heaters that you can take out
bet they dont make mobile glove boxes lol. for what a 106 dash weighs, its pointless takin it out.
