I've got one of their cadmium batteries in mine. Might seem expensive, but they have a four year garuentee and are good.

i did ring sutton auto's up yesterday before they closed and they said £39 or summet like that for a battery which aint bad compared to halfords £69 or £79 so ill have to take a trip to sutton auto's soon

Halfords are good though, if you get a 4 year warranty and keep the receipt, n then 3 years and 364 days later ya battery packs up, ya can go n get a new one for free
and if ya on trade it's even better!

no different from anywhere else warranty is warranty anywhere.
go to SAF mate alot cheaper

try county batteries in kirkby. there normally quite reasonable.

i might try where newth said or stick with saf as i no they do a battery with 4 year gaurantee for £40 summet pound anywhere which is still alot better than halfords as there one with 4 year gaurantee is like £79 all halfords are good for is nothing thats it really and newth where abouts is that one in kirkby

i think you'll find most new batteries come with a warranty of some sort.
more you pay, longer you get.
county batteries in kirkby is on the main road heading into kirkby, from the station. as you get to a mini roundabout (second one maybe???) it's on your right.
i believe county will swap your battery & dispose of the old one for free. ring them first for a price. don't waste your time.
