I wasnt sure what engine it was. Its not a Cossie or RS2000 (I've had both) but could be a Vauxhall as its sometimes done. Its not a turbo'd one though.

£8500?? They must be strong drugs that the seller is on!!

Mine was put up for £5000 and that was a long way from being low milage and further away from what I'd call mint. So £8500 is not too far out at that. Unfortunately you have to pay if you want a good one.

I know you get what you pay for but £8500 is getting in to clean 3-door territory. £5500 is more than enough to get a tidy Sapph.

You're right, for £8500 I would want a 3 door.
