some other forums im on have recently been organising airfield meets with a little course so u can play safely and happily in your car even get some timed runs in.
would in of the staff on maxxd staff willing to organise such an event
as we seem to have a growing number of people who would prefer to this rather than just sit in a car park.
how much fun does that look really.

its not a track day as such as u r by yourself on track so no chance of stig wannabes hitting u.

The only real decent airfields around here are raf swinderby and manby complex. Both are very good as they are used for stage rallying. Other than them 2 there isnt many airfield around that are still usable.

agreed, BUT running a business and organising such an event would quite difficult.
was thinking about some1 who is able to ring somewhere up like bruntingthorpe just to get an idea of prices, or maybe some1 who got time to search for a place in the general area.
