Well the time has come to sell my baby i'm afraid...

Here we have my 1999 Ford Ka with just under 57,000 on the clock.

She is a one off Skarlet model and was a show car for Ford for 2 years. She has one off leather interior which alone costs £1200 to get fitted.

She is also going into the body shop for a respray costing £700-£800 within the next 2 months and will be ready to go straight after.

I am asking £2,200 but I am open to offers and I am looking for another car with a little more speed and anything upto a 2.0 so I am interested in part exchange depending on the car.

This car is very reliable and has never broken down on me once, there is alot of potential for an engine transplant and she handles corners VERY well!!

i think youd get 2.2 now for it so that why i was saying 2.5 and you'd still sell it, i sold my beemer more then i paid for it in same condition

If someone was to offer me the right price it will go. It's still on Pistonheads and i've updated it today so it comes up as new.

If I still have it next year it will be getting resprayed again but possibly a different red.

It's my birthday in 4 weeks and i've asked for just money. I should get around £700-800. If I can pick up a turbo or a 2.0 Zetec then I may be tempted to keep it and drop one of them in. But if I can't it's going and that money will be put towards a new car.

Either way, I won't have a standard 1.3 by Christmas.

where can you get a 2 litre zetec transplant, for £800?
