Some of you (widdo) may of seen me parked up in a stupid place the other night in mansfield woodhouse..

Well, Gem's petal box went on her car, which in turn meant we couldnt get any gears, and therefore couldnt move the car...

We managed to limp it back from gems work, to woodhouse, but at the traffic light just where we broke down it stopped playing fair and gave up..





Scott repaired the pedal box so that it can be driven, but the gearbox sounds like its full of nails..

So we are on the hunt for a gearbox, and a starter motor..

If anyone hears of owt, then holla!

Its a 2000 X reg 1.4 polo..

And YES im fully aware of what else i could of used the trailer for whilst we had it.. but we had to take it back home about 10 mins after we picked it up.. so we had to rush!

I also think its ironic the AA send out VW Transporters to help you..thats asking for trouble!

well known problem on the mk5 (6n2) polo and lupo is the pedal box !

the mk5 polo are abit naff to be fair, iv heard of no end of them spit the gearboxes down the road at less than 50,000 on the clock!

pedal box's are also made out of cheese, as said by ash!
