The clay is like playdo... you spray detailer on the car then run a ball of clay over very quickly... then you dry the area. clay doesnt leave anything on the car... just the detailer
i didnt understand at first until mike showed me how to do it

I can see me ending up in a mess here!
I got the impression the clay was solid?

clay is like soft play-do....
you wash the car fully, spray quick detailer onto the panel and then work the clay over the panel in strait lines (NOT CIRCLES!!!)
once you done you just wipe the panel dry and move to the next.....
when you done the whole car with the clay you need to polish the car with a good deep gloss polish (autoglym works a treat!)
apply the polish (again, in strait lines otherwise you will get "swirl" effects) and then buff/remove as normal....
exactly that lol. Sarah it is simple... if i can do it you can

Oh no, you're not part of Team Autogay are you Daniel?
Some Meguairs Tech wax will be smoothing my lady out!

Don't use the clay in a ball, use it in the shape it comes to or mould it to your hand, do it in straight lines and use medium pressure. Wipe the residual detailer off when you've done it.
It's dead simple.
i use it as a flat oval.... and yes Meguairs all the way sarah...

Gave half my car a going over with some poor boys the other day, Its great stuff. Mine needs doing again though as there is alot of crap in my paint. Need to do the other half to, but was very impressed with what clay can do.
