After much soul searching I have put the Truck up for sale.
Yes - that's right - the beast is now officially up for grabs :eyes:
It's in for a new clutch/service/MOT at the moment which should get it ready for summer, but with my knee problem not getting any better and the Cabrio soon to be rebuilt I just won't have the time/space/funds to go any wilder with it (I'd have gone for an engine conversion and full mental expedition offroad kit).
So....to replace it we are now looking at other Volkswagens. Kate borrowed a Kia Sedona for a few days which I thought did the job but was dog ugly, Korean and smelt of piss. That and there is no way you could Maxxd it!
So instead I have talked her into a T4. It's the 90's VW van/minibus and we are looking for one with a TD engine (quick, cheap, reliable and easy to chip!). Hoping to get decent money for the truck which should mean I can afford a tidy T4 with Caravelle/Multivan interior and some modifying material too.
Before you despair at the loss of the mental truck have a look at these. I reckon theres some potential here and the Porsche Cayenne rims I have lurking in the unit may find a home on the new pimpwagen if we get one :boogy:
