I thought i would hust give you all abit of background to my pug and when the modificastions took place.
The history of the pug 306 rallye.
07/2002 - Toad alarm fitted.
irector:
10/2002 - Superchip fitted.:cyclops:
10/2002 - Devil rear silencer, Devil centre section, Devil decat.
12/2002 - Head ported and polished, new high performance cams
hocked:.
01/2003 - Devil straight thru centre.
At some point as some of you know the cat was put back on but most of the exhaust is still Devil
.
Alloy wheels are the next thing... white speedlines
not sure what size yet because i need them to fit over my breaks.
I think my next engine mod will be the throtle bodies but first i want to look into the fuel pump and see if it has been upgraded or not.
At the moment we face the problem of what oil we need to put in it...
After looking at the reciepts it seems tis car was run on 10w 60... No one has heard of it but some people claim that is a racing oil and i cant buy it of the shelf anywhere.
What other oil would my car run on??? 10w 50? 5w 30?
Many Thanks
Hayley

10w 60 sounds like Mobil Motorsport to me, not many people stock it apart from either performance centres or places like Demon Tweeks. It's a tad over zealous for your car though really, 10w 50 will be more than adequate. To be honest, something like Mobil or Millers 10w 40 would be up to the job.

so as the engine has 10 60 in at the mo am i ok to top it up with 10w50 or do i need to drain the engine?
07-02-2008, 12:50 PM
In a perfect world you'd drain the lot and replace it, but for a top up 10w 50 is fine yeah.

ok thank you
