Well as some of you no about my sunroof it has stopped leaking a bit

, however it has made the immobiliser damp and some times takes a few clicks to take it off. Does any one no if it is a hard job to disconnect the immobiliser of is there any place which does this kind of work as I fear it might stop working and my car not go any where for a bit lol
Depends on the age and quality of it, but either way I'd get someone who knows what they're doing to take it of. Most good auto electricians should be able to help for not a lot of money.
Like you say, better getting rid now before you get stuck broke down somewhere or worse, I've had faulty immobiliser simply cut all the power while driving and its not fun in the outside lane of the M1 then trying to get to the hard shoulder without any engine power. Its like playing "frogger" with 38t lorries. lol.
Alanman
does any one no any places local which will do this
thanks again

yeah only go to someone that knows there stuff

Ive started fitting immobilisers so that if your average bloke tries to remove the immo from car in a normal way then it feeds the engine ecu with a lovely dose of volts killing the car

and i take wires back to actual plugs replacing terminals so there are no cut wires at all. Even installers that have done it for years end up being headfucked with my work when they tamper especially when it communicates with the CAN bus wiring or I recode the software on the engine ECU to do silly little things.
