I'll get on to this soon as i get chance for photos!

Won't be long.

wat is it now??
Obvoiously the car didn't sell, no suprises there for anyone.

So, time to strip it.

A few friends came to help! (Dan yoda1)

So I've decided to put it back onto the road.

It's gonna be de-modified, barring a few small mods, including the engine & the interior & the exterior. lol

so, interior is first on the list. not gonna be a lot. here's the work done so far.

i need a dash. here's half of the tin box i've bought. new dash for £9.99, bargin.

Add a few holes for wires & fuses into half of it.

Then Attach it to the dash. (just ty-rapped at the minute)

Now start to rewire the entire loom. Here's how much i've done so far.

there you go. that explain it all?

yayyyyyy
found myself at a loose end tonight, so i decided to do a bit more.

originally i wanted to put my switches straight into the new dash (or box lol) but there's not gonna be enough room. so, i've added another box to the front. time to start putting the switches back in next.

also, unrelated to this of sorts, i'm off to get some dials tomorrow i'm hoping. sweet.
sweet man Icon_smile

you'll end up putting some ICE in it i know you will Icon_lol
nope, have a galaxy for that. i will resisit.

come over tomorrow dude & have a look.
done a bit more this weekend.

dash first of all, just put in the switches.

i did manage to set fire to the fuse box though, cos i got a wire wrong.
that's a bit of an arse cos now i've got to try & fix all the broke stuff in there.
not to worry, keeps me busy.

here's a picture of the dash now.

also today i've fabricated a braket on to my steering column for the new clocks.

done a shed load more wiring today. just looks the same though, so i'll not bother with photos. about another 2 carrier bags full of wire have been ditched though!

also, had to rewire the indicators because they're back onto switches now. must remember to draw circuit diagrams for the galaxy, as it took me fucking hours to remember how i'd done them wirelessly. lol
wow, looking good..

you leaving all the dynamat in?
not sure about the dynamat. probably, as it'll be stuck down well. if any has come loose, i'll rag it off though. at the minute i'm just trying to get it back on the road! lol.

speaking of which....

I found an old collins boost gauge in the garage. thought i'd fit it, so needed a place to mount it. since theres no dash, this ain't as easy as it sounds!

so tried nomad first & found this....

http://www.nomadracing.com/catalog/produ...cts_id=270

decided that was too expensive so had a look on ebay & found a cheaper unit, then found the same thing even cheaper at speeding.co.uk (thanks google) lol

done more therapy shopping. things are shit at home at the minute, so i thought i'd cheer myself up.

got some new brakes coming for the front end.

(FAO Alanman, these should be here in a 2-3 weeks, so at that point we can do a full swap over of everything.)
