right, remember this....
the pod mount for the mk4 escort. it came.
what a hunk of shite.
first problem, gauge doesn't fit. had to enlarge the hole.
next problem, see how well it fits the car. you can tell it's specifically made for the mk4 escort.
still, grind all the fitting away & self tap the fucker into place.
& when lite up.....
final thing for this morning.....
brakes.
all new, front & rear. well, actually the rear are second hand, but you know what i mean. i'll start with the rears....
actually, job 1.....
modify the anti-lock brakes.
well, ok. take them off & throw them into a pile. (alone with some random lights form under the car.)
right, rears....
start with this.......
to.....
then this.....
all gone.
new caliper attached & may as well do the wheel bearing while we're here....
all put back together & .......
can't be arsed with all the front, so here you go....
also, i may have found one of the problems with the back brakes.....

one of the caliper posts was sticking a little as well.
i've free'd it up, but it's still not perfect. have to see how they go from here.
seemed good all the way to notts & back.
stupid fucking car.
yet another flat tire & it's not reach boost pressure. not even peaking at 12psi.
it's as though it's sort of stuck in low boost, sort of, not sort of.
right just realised ive heard nothing of this car for facking ages

to be honest i missed like the last 2 pages of updates so that made an intresting read
truth be known, it's just being driven at the minute mate.
few jobs to do to keep it running, but all my times being spent with the new project car.
was nice to see it tonight as ive seen that car change form quite a few times now in the past so many years
