Yeah yeah yeah!
looks quality black

very gangsta !!
The grille does look quality mate, I think it'll definitely be worth the effort to paint the rest of the trim.....maybe the rims too? Stealth-pimpin' Icon_biggrin
very nice..

not something that jumps up as being an obvious mod, but it deffo makes a difference to the overall appearance Icon_smile
Going to get the rest of the trim done before fast show. I think it looks 100 times better colourt coded.

Not brave enough to do the rims just yet though. They will get done.

Should look really good fully stealthed, reminds me of the old W124 shape "hammer" that AMG did in the 80's...sinister as fook!

That looks cool, just the look I'm after, nice and mean. Looking at that though, the wheel dont need doing, they look fine silver on that.
Yeah they do look sound silver, but I'm pretty sure they came in black as an option too. I'll see if I can find a pic................

Here we go, looks like the coupe came with silver rims but the saloon had the black ones, this looks awesome........

I take it back. Black looks loads better.

I WILL do them black (or body coloured anyway) as soon as I have the balls. lol
Ha ha, yeah not a job to be taken lightly but I'm sure you can handle it. I reckon body coloured with a polished lip would look ace, and black bolts too. I think those "Hammers" look gorgeous for a car nearly a quarter of a century old.
Mine arnt polished anymore. I thought about getting them back to being polish but worried what I would find under the paint. I always assume poeple paint polished lips for a reason....to hide some bad curbage maybe.

So when I do do it they'll be the same silver lip, not polished.

I'm seen some new wheels. So I'm also thinking any money forked out to paint the existing wheel could go towards the new rims. And I recon the resale value of the AMG one would be less if they were black.

I think too much. lol.
Yeah that could be an avenue worth exploring mate, sell the genuine rims and put them towards some new ones. I think the style that's on it suit the car really well and there are plenty of copies around. Have you seen something completely different then?
Either Dotz Roadsters or Inovit DTM.

I'm sticking with 18s. I was going for 19s but everywhere I look people comment on the scrubbing on 19s and they're loads cheaper too. lol.

I first saw the Dotz and thought the grey colour was cool, but I've since seen the Inovit ones and I recon the black would look better.

But the bottom line is the money. I'll be getting the cheapest which at the minute the Inovit ones win at £400.

It'd cost me upto £50 to paint mine

Those black ones look lovely Icon_biggrin
